George D. Schindler, former president and chief executive officer of business and information technology company CGI, will be the featured speaker at George Mason’s Winter Commencement on Dec. 19 at EagleBank Arena on the Fairfax Campus.

Schindler, now a member of the CGI Board of Directors, led the company from 2016 to 2024.

During Schindler’s time as CEO, George Mason and CGI further developed their robust partnership. More than 250 CGI employees are George Mason alums, including Board of Visitors member Horace Blackman, BA American Studies and English ‘93, the university’s former rector. Read more.
