Due to COVID-19, we’ve secured an outdoor space at Caboose Commons in Fairfax with great food and drink to host the annual Oktoberfest this year. Oktoberfest provides the perfect opportunity to make contact with new business associates to grow your business while catching up with fellow members and colleagues.
Celebrating our partnership with HomeAid Northern Virginia, we're asking attendees to donate grocery store gift cards of any denomination for Hunger and Homeless Awareness Month. In Virginia, 863,390 people are struggling with hunger --- 29% are children. Thompson Greenspon will be doing a dollar-for-dollar match to all of the gift card/cash donations provided to HomeAid for Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Month at this event.
We look forward to seeing you at Oktoberfest!
With Virginia now in Phase 3, NVBIA will follow the guidelines set forth by Governor Northam to ensure the safety of all guests and staff at upcoming events. NVBIA will practice the guidelines including, but not limited to those noted below:
• Limiting social gatherings to 250 people or less
• Reconfiguring seating areas to allow six feet of physical distance between individuals
• Requiring face masks or coverings except while eating and drinking.
• Routine cleaning and disinfecting of high contact areas and hard surfaces.
We appreciate your understanding during this time.
