I believe that Lincoln also said that "good things may come to people who wait but only the thiyngs left by those who hustle". Both quotes point to the need to take action to be successful. It is important to have a vision of what you want to accomplish but that vision is only valuable if it inspires action that takes you down the path to achieving the vision. The vision by itself is nothing more than a dream unless you take action toward making it come to life. Tony Robbins said that we should never leave the site of a decision without taking massive action. We are all capable of achieving great things but to do so we must overcome our fear of failure and the procrastination it brings with it to take risks and begin moving forward. With every step we take in a positive direction the dream gets closer Yes we can create our own future if only we have the courage to take that first step and the resilience to continue despite the challenges and obstacles we will inevitably face. If we fail to take action we are creating our future as well. Unfortunately that path is well traveled and non fulfilling. Choose action and dare to be great.
