Governor Northam Announces Administration Appointments

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam announced additional appointments to his Administration today. Secretariat of the Commonwealth Emma Williams, Special Assistant for Records Management Emma Williams has been appointed Special Assistant for Records Management. Prior to this appointment, she served as a Special Assistant in the Notary and Authentications Division of the Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth. She has held positions in the Office of the Attorney General and the Senate of Virginia, and served as a 2015 Governor’s Fellow. A native of Hanover County, Emma earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Randolph College. Courtney Wynn, Special Assistant for Authentications, Notary, and Community Engagement Courtney Wynn has been appointed Special Assistant for Authentications, Notary, and Community Engagement. Prior to her appointment, Courtney served as Executive Assistant to the Secretary of the Commonwealth. A native of Charles City County, Courtney is a proud member of the Chickahominy Tribe. She previously worked as a Data Analyst for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, and is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Economics.
