The White House Historical Association’s 2020 Christmas Ornament:
This year’s ornament honors John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States. Before his presidency was cut short by an assassin’s bullet, he had reinvigorated the American spirit. His legacy lives on in his youthful belief in America and his faith in America’s responsibilities to the world. The image is a replica of his posthumous official White House portrait, made in 1970 by Aaron Shikler.

Funds raised by the Club from selling the ornaments are used to support community groups and individuals, such as a variety of programs at Herndon schools, activities for seniors and veterans, and partnerships with nonprofits throughout the area. The Herndon Woman’s Club is a tax-exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN 23-7429355).
