Sharon Meyers has been the Director of Catering Sales at Westfields Marriott since 2013. Prior to that she has worked for top hospitality venues in the area such as The National Conference Center, Lansdowne Resort, and The Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner.

At her current hotel, Westfields Marriott has just completed a full hotel renovation giving a fresh look to the event space as well as the guest rooms. Westfields Marriott caterers to large business conferences, small meetings, as well as social events such as corporate holiday parties, fundraising galas, weddings, and special milestone celebrations. With 25 plus years of experience in the hospitality industry, Sharon has developed a strong business acumen which has attributed to her success.

Sharon has been involved with the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce since 2013 and has served in several leadership roles on the Board of Directors such as Chair on the Dulles Hospitality Committee, Stars over Dulles Committee, Chair of the Hospitality Lodging Summit, Equity and Inclusion Committee, in a Word Committee, Dulles Executive Women and most recently is serving on the Executive Committee as the Vice President of Commerce.

In addition to the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce Board, Sharon serves on the United Way Loudoun Regional Council. She enjoys giving back to her community. She was instrumental in starting a new fundraiser for the organization- Tee Up for Equity that takes place in the Fall. In 2023 the event raised $50,000 for local Loudoun Charities focused on food insecurity in the local schools.

In 2022, Westfields Marriott was named hotel of the Year for Marriott Premium Brands and in 2023, Westfields Marriott was named hotel of the Year for the Virginia, Restaurant, Lodging & Travel Association. In addition, the hotel was honored with the 2023 Galaxy Award for Large Business at Stars over Dulles Awards Gala. Two additional Sharon has received to additional personal recognition. She was recognized on the list of the Hotel Management’s Forty Over 40 Class of 2024 and was recognized as 2023 Top Performer Program in Sales for the US and Canada, Director of Catering Sales for Marriott.

In her spare time, Sharon enjoys travelling with her husband and her twin girls, trying new gourmet cuisine, and playing golf.
