The primary areas of representation are as follows:
Family Law:
We handle all aspects of separation and divorce, child custody and parenting schedules, visitation, child support, spousal support, prenuptial agreements and preparation of marital separation agreements; as well as post-divorce enforcement and modifications to support and custody. We use litigation, mediation and collaborative law as methods towards the best resolution of our client’s individual needs. Attorneys Elanna Weinstein, Meena Rajan and Malika Evans devote much of their practice to family law.
Business Law and Contracts:
We negotiate, review, and draft contracts and agreements for a variety of business and commercial purposes. When disputes arise under contracts, we represent clients in court, arbitration, or mediation in an effort to favorably resolve such disputes. We assist businesses not only with contract matters, but also with starting a business, review of forms and manuals and resolution of disputes between businesses and other businesses or between businesses and customers. Attorneys David Hirsh and Lydia Burnett devote much of their practice to business law and contract disputes.
Criminal Defense:
We represent individuals facing a variety of criminal and traffic offenses including drug offenses, driving under the influence, assault and battery charges, reckless driving, financial crimes, property crimes, etc. We also represent individuals seeking expungement of criminal charges, and we have also represented crime victims as their case proceeds through the legal system. David Hirsch has over 34 years of experience representing both individuals and businesses facing federal and non-federal investigations of potential and actual criminal matters. Meena Rajan has over eight years of criminal defense experience representing individuals facing criminal charges in Virginia.
Wills:

We represent individuals injured in vehicle accidents, slip and fall cases and dog bites. As part of this representation, we negotiate with insurance companies to seek fair compensation for our clients for their injuries, taking into consideration medical bills, pain and suffering, lost wages and property damage. We also negotiate with health care providers to seek a reduction in medical liens, thereby increasing client recoveries. Attorneys David Hirsch and Lydia Burnett work both individually and in tandem on these matters.
