Centreville Day is the primary fund-raiser and the monies raised are used to support awareness, education, preservation and protection of the history and cultural resources in western Fairfax County, especially those in the Centreville Historic District and Historic Centreville Park.

Friends of Historic Centreville, a non-profit, all-volunteer, 501 c3 corporation.  Centreville Day is the primary fund-raiser and the monies raised are used to support awareness, education, preservation and protection of the history and cultural resources in western Fairfax County, especially those in the Centreville Historic District and Historic Centreville Park.

The mission of FHC is to preserve and promote the resources of the Centreville Historic District and the conservation of its land and scenic values; advocate for the needs and future of the Centreville Historic District; foster fund raising efforts and grants for preservation and restoration projects; and maintain a working relationship with the Historic Centreville Society, the Fairfax County History Commission and Fairfax County Agencies, to complement the efforts of all those working for the greater good of Centreville’s Historic District.

FCH has sponsored Centreville Day, whihc has historically been held the third Saturday in October. With the support of sponsors, vendors, entertainers, local organizations, and many volunteers, Centreville Day has enriched the knowledge and apprecation of the historical and cultural significance of this part of Northern Virginia  for most of the 30 years of its existance.
