I believe strongly that each of us is blessed with a special set of abilities that provide us the potential to be great. A leaders primary responsibility is to help us discover that greatness and then to put us in a position to capitalize on what makes us great so that we can positively impact our families, our business, the community, and the world. Leaders become so not because of their status or their positions of authority but rather through the manifestation of their unique talents in service to others. As individuals it is our responsibility to take advantage of the gifts that we have been given and put them to use in improving the lives of those around us. Being great doesn't imply amassing great wealth or power but rather giving our special gifts to the benefit of those we can help. We all have great potential we just need to choose to uncover it and then spend the rest of our lives giving it to the world. That is the true measure of leadership.
