Today's #leadership quote
"No person was ever honored for what he received. Honor has been the reward for what he gave." Calvin Coolidge
As we near the end of the season of giving we bring 2020 to a close. While it was a difficult year for many and most of us have lost someone that we knew and loved there were some positives that have come from the experience. There is a stronger sense of community and more people have reached out to their neighbors to offer assistance than previously. Most people have developed a deeper respect for those who are our first responders and literally put that it is possible to build hospitals literally in days rather than years and develop vaccines in months instead of years. Most of us have had to cope with dramatic changes to our previous way of life and we have done so and in so doing have demonstrated a resilience that perhaps we didn't know that we possessed before. The pandemic has dramatically altered the landscape but our spirits should be buoyed by all those who have given so much to prevent the impact of this dreaded virus from being greater. As we prepare for 2021 lets continue to focus on what we all can give to help continue the trend toward stronger community. Then we will not only beat the pandemic but build a better world.
