Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce Hosts Annual Awards Gala

 

March 31, 2022, Herndon, VA – The Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted their Annual Stars Over Dulles Awards Gala to recognize the outstanding community leaders who have gone above and beyond to support the Dulles Region. The event took place on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at the Westfields Marriott hotel in Chantilly, VA.

 

The evening’s keynote speaker was Dr. Scott Brabrand, Division Superintendent with Fairfax County Public Schools. Dr. Brabrand oversees day to day operations in the 11^th largest school district in the U.S. that includes 199 schools and centers, 189,000 students, and 24,000 employees. He has worked collaboratively with county officials to achieve several fully funded budget requests.

 

The Emcee for the event was Tommy McFly, who made a name for himself as a D.C. media ambassador and was named 2021 “Washingtonian of the Year.” Whether he’s co-hosting “The Tommy + Kelly Show” on Real.Fun.DC. or sharing the stories of the people and communities that make Washington tick on NBC4’s “The SCENE”, his love for his adopted city shines through.
