Join Museum staff for a look at how scientists are expanding our view of the Universe with the help of new space telescopes and probes, like the James Webb Space Telescope. We'll show you how these tools help us learn more about black holes, the earliest galaxies, asteroids, exoplanets, and more!

Activities include:

  • Demonstrations and hands-on explorations
  • Solar observing with safe telescopes
  • Conversations and Q&As with scientists, astronomers, engineers and other experts
  • A collaborative art project
  • Musical performances by The Chromatics, a high-energy vocal band with a full spectrum of songs about science and technology

Museum admission and the program are free.  Parking is $15/car.

Soar Together @ Air and Space family days are made possible by the generous support of Northrop Grumman.
