Mentoring provides young women with the necessary guidance, support and role modeling they need to successfully navigate their personal, educational and professional journey. In the current Covid-19 climate, women have been impacted more than men at the workplace and at home, and have suffered greater job loss, economic distress and added responsibility to care for others. Now more than ever, the young women of Generation Z need the support of wise, compassionate and experienced female mentors to guide them forward.
In this informative presentation, you will learn about the value and intrinsic reward of mentoring young women, and the available DEW mentoring opportunities with the college women at NOVA and the rising seniors at St. Paul VI in Chantilly.
